J.M. Williams Realty was established in Centerville, Ohio in 1948. From a farming family in a small rural community in southeastern Ohio, Joseph M. Williams launched his career in the real estate business after returning from World War II. Specializing in rural property sales, he began expanding the business into the development of residential communities around Centerville.
In 1971 Kimpton (Kim) Williams became a licensed real estate agent with the company. Early in his career Kim was actively involved in the development projects and sales of properties by the company, and in 1982 Kim became the acting Broker for J.M. Williams Realty.
In 2006 Jared M. Williams became a licensed real estate agent with the brokerage and the company remains a family business.
